Great read! As a woman and mother of 2 young daughters I am pro female and believe in equality for females. I dislike some of the politics of the movie trailer you posted and the shots of bikini clad and/or pretty women. It’s STILL NOT ABOUT looks or makeup! No, I do not believe women should dress or look this way but we are women, we are not men. Men should keep their hormones in check but that’s an entirely different conversation.
It’s more about continuing the conversation with our young daughters and female associates, women are equal if not superior to men in many ways. Studies show females excel in test scores over males throughout preschool, high school and into college but for some reason it all changes in the work force and board room. Men get higher wages, the better position etc. First women don’t have to hide their femininity and or beauty to be an equal. It’s simply about who is right and who can do the job. I agree getting more females into politics would greatly help however, neither the democrats nor republicans have yet to figure out politics. There should be no political parties and representatives should stand behind their own ideas and improve the world going forward. Men in politics shouldn’t be able to tell any women or child what to do with her body or who can use her restroom. Politics is all about the huge corporations, real estate investors, universities, medical foundations who funnel money in led by…mainly men. More women need to take up those positions to get more done in DC. Women need to come together ourselves and agree to disagree on some issues but continue to push forward in our work towards becoming EQUAL to the unequal access to jobs, salaries, leadership positions, powerful boardrooms and other resources that men currently possess. Fight for those top careers, job positions and prove your worth for bonuses and higher or equal pay as men. As you can see now, we definitely need to band together and blow the whistle on sexual harassment and abuse.
